Angela Kay Olivas

May 12, 1964 — January 22, 2023

Angela Kay “Angie” Olivas, 58, of Waco, was received into the arms of Jesus Sunday, January 22, 2023.

The family will be receiving visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, at Wilkirson Hatch-Bailey-Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Boulevard. A service will be held at Wilkirson Hatch-Bailey-Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28.

Angie was born May 12, 1964, to Veldon George Hassell and Gloria Jean Gossett in Waco. Angie enjoyed cooking and caring for the elderly. She worked in a nursing home kitchen in Valley Mills for a few years before moving to Waco. Once in Waco, she found her calling in home healthcare, where she worked for over 20 years. Angie loved going out with her family and friends to shoot some pool and listen to good music. She loved anything that had to do with the Peanuts Gang, but Charlie Brown was her favorite. She enjoyed her many trips to Colorado with her husband Armando to go visit family and friends. Angie was always known to lend a helping hand when someone needed it and will be missed dearly but will always be in our hearts.

Left to treasure her memory are her husband, Armando; son, Mikey and wife, Brittnie; daughter, Alicia and husband, Paul; stepdaughters, Ashley, Amanda, and Megan; grandchildren, Danielle, Andrew, Ava, Michelle, Izak, Adam, Savannah, Kayden, Payton, Willow, and Arleigh; mother, Jean and husband, Joe; brothers, Mark and Michael and wife, Paula; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family invites you to leave a message or memory on our “Tribute Wall” at www.WHBfamily.com.
