Ann Chodorow September 7, 1916 - February 8, 2010 Ann Chodorow, 93, of Waco passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010, after a lengthy illness. Graveside services and burial will take place at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, at the Agudath Jacob Cemetery with Rabbi Gordon Fuller officiating. Ann was born September 7, 1916, in Cleburne, Texas and grew up in Ft. Worth. She moved to Waco when she married her husband, Jack, in 1941. She was an active member of Congregation Agudath Jacob as well as Hadassah. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Helen Bodzy; her husband of 61 years, Jack; her sisters, Cecil Kaye and Lola Byers; and her brothers, Henry and Irving Bodzy. She is survived by her son, Steven and wife, Rowena; her son, Martin and wife, Mamie; her grandson, Scott and wife, Laurie; and two grandchildren, Amy and Isaac. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Bessie Bodzy; and by many nieces and nephews. Ann will be remembered for her warm and affectionate nature and love of family and friends. The family would like to thank those who took care of Ann during her illness, in particular, Rita Bricker, Effie Hilliard, Mary DaMoude, Linda Espin, and Cindy Shepard, the staff at Buckner Villas, Hospice Austin and Ed Yarbrough. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Congregation Agudath Jacob of Waco, Congregation Agudas Achim of Austin or the Alzhiemer's Association.
