Brandon Wade Brown

Brandon Wade Brown of Waco passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 515 Columbus Avenue, Waco, Texas 76701 with the Rev. Chuck Treadwell and the Rev. Billy Tweedie officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, September 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Brandon was born June 11, 1971 in Gatesville, Texas and graduated from McGregor High School in 1989. He was a sports enthusiast, loving hunting, fishing and softball. He was a loving father, coaching Braden’s baseball team and taking his boys to Cowboys and Astros games. He and Alison were co-owners of Comet Cleaners on Valley Mills Drive. He is survived by his wife, Alison Brown; his sons, Braden, Blake and expected son, Brody, due October 1; his mother, Jackie Brown and father, Billy Wayne Brown and wife, Dalia; and brothers, Brian and Adam Brown; and sister, Samantha Brown; father and mother-in-law, Bo and Ginger Strickland; brother-in-law Matt Strickland and wife, Lindsey; several nieces, nephews and other family and close friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Brown, Bryce Brown, Hayden Brown, Bret Brown, Adam Brown, Gary Martin, Rick Martin, Mario Oliverez, Jr. and Larry Stone. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Virginia Alison Brown Benefit Fund for Braden and Blake Brown at Wells Fargo Bank.
