Elsie Irene Campbell

Elsie Irene Campbell passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Services will be 1:30 pm, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home with Chaplain Willis Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

Elsie was born March 22, 1941, in Lott, Texas, to Eunice and Ira Williams. She was educated at Lott ISD. She worked as a seamstress inspector at Waco Apparel. Elsie loved gardening, bird watching, cooking, word puzzles, and taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice and Ira Williams; her husband, Joe Campbell; her siblings, Harold, W.C., I.J., George, Christine, Pat, Ruby, and Nita.

She is survived by her sons, Tracy and Stanley; grandchildren, Chelsea, Paige, Taylor, Preston, and Peyton; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Preston Campbell, Roger Austin, Russell Austin, Tyler Inmon, James Brem, Curtis Anderau, Tre Lewis, and Stephen Runkel; and honorary pallbearer, Braeden Campbell.

The family wishes to thank Amedysis Hospice and Mercy House Waco for taking such good care of her in her final days.
