Fritz Kriegel III June 11, 1967 July 30, 2011 On Friday, of this past week, July 29, 2011, we lost the most beautiful, kind, compassionate son, brother, uncle and friend of so many. Ernst Friedrich "Fritz" Kriegel, 44, passed away and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Hewitt, and visitation will be 6:00 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Fritz was born on June 11, 1967, the son of Bill and Lenora Parrish of Waco, and the late Fritz Kriegel II. Fritzy was raised in Marlin, Texas, where he leaves many dear friends. Following high school, he moved to Waco and began a 25 year career at Poppa Rolla's, where he was beloved by even more, serving with humor and love. Fritz had so many loves, including fishing, arrowhead hunting, foosball, playing guitar, collecting WWII and other memorabilia, and was a force to be reckoned with during the Jeopardy Daily Double. Survivors include three sisters, Kristina Kriegel Minor of Austin, Gina Parrish Pasisis and husband, Tom, of Chicago, and Meg Parrish of Waco; and one brother, Brad Parrish and wife, Carrie, of Austin. Also left behind were his eight nieces and nephews, Tommy and Caroline Pasisis, Elizabeth and Helen Minor, Michael, Laura, Claire and Kate Parrish. Pallbearers will be Jack Cline, Carlos Johnson, Keith Remlinger, Edwin McPherson, Tom Pasisis and Brad Parrish.
