Esther Hilda Schimschat

Esther Hilda Schimschat December 11, 1922 - April 25, 2011 Esther Hilda Schimschat of Waco passed away Monday, April 25, 2011. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 28, at Frieden�s United Church of Christ in Riesel, Texas, with Rev. Paul Sabov, officiating. Burial will follow at The Frieden�s Cemetery in Riesel. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Esther was born December 11, 1922, in Riesel to Albert and Ella Loewe Obearle. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Esther has been a lifelong member of Friedens United Church of Christ. She lived her faith by caring for others and friend to all she met. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Henry Fred Schimschat; her parents; daughter, Carolyn Ach; grandson, Barton Scott Springer; and brother, Raymond Obearle. She is survived by daughters, Marlene Springer and husband, Louis, of Hewitt, and Lanell Hart and husband, Oscar, of Waco; son, Raymond Schimschat and wife, Patsy, of Waco; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; and brother, Adolph Obearle and wife, Martha, of Schertz, TX. Pallbearers are her grandchildren. Memorials may be made to The Friedens�s Church of Christ, 109 S. Wiebusch St., Riesel, Texas 76682.
