Harold William Robinson

Harold Robinson February 16, 1930 - August 29, 2014 Harold William Bill Robinson of Waco passed away Friday, August 29, 2014, after a long illness. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Bill was born February 16, 1930 in Portland, Oregon to Harold and Bess Fountain Robinson, Sr., He attended schools in Portland and the University of Oregon in Eugene, He came to Waco to establish the plant for DanaCorp. In the mid seventies. When he ceased to be with Dana, he began working with his wife Betty Ann in her design business and ultimately they opened Funrnitue of the At Shop. Working together was a pleasure for them. They also bought houses in Dallas and Waco and totally transformed them. His great pleasure was traveling with Betty Ann, boating with his dear friend, Bill Donald, reading book and working in his work shop. Bill derived great joy in his involvement with Cameron and Stieler, his grandchildren. He was a kind, patient, and gentle man and will be missed by those who loved him. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by loving wife, Betty Ann Robinson.; sons, Greg Robinson of Vancouver, Washington, Link Harris and wife, Denise and Blair Harris, both of Waco; and grandsons, Cameron and Stieler Harris. The family wants to thank the staff of St. Catherine Center and Providence Hospital for their excellent care.
