Jack Gilbert Ayers May 27, 1930 - August 7, 2006 Jack G. Ayers of Waco went to be with our Lord and Savior Monday, August 7, 2006. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church on Speegleville Road with Pastor Dan Malone officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey on Bosque Blvd. Jack was born May 27, 1930 in Robinson, PA to John Robert Ayers and Nancy Margaret Ayers. During his time of military service in Korea, Jack met his loving wife, Myong, and had four loving children. He became a born again Christian later in life and his faith became the source of strength through his illnesses. Our dad was always an optimist and kept a positive attitude even through the most trying times. “Dad, we’ll always love and miss you. It’s because of you we are who we are.” He was preceded in death by his wife, his infant son, James and his parents. He is survived by his children: John Ayers and wife, Margaret; David Ayers and Pam; Gloria Gunn and husband, James; grandchildren, Jessica Ayers, Greg Brown, Celenia Ayers and Randall Gunn.
