James Clint “Holly” Hollingsworth October 5, 1917 – March 24, 2006 James took the hand of the Lord to go to his Heavenly home on March 24, 2006 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 27, 2006 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Boulevard with Pastor Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill cemetery in Fort Worth. The family will receive visitors from 4 – 6 p.m., Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. James was born in Irene, TX to Clint and Nettie Hollingsworth. He graduated from Frost High School in Frost, TX and served in the U.S. Army in the European theater during World War II. James owned and operated several Humble service stations in the Waco area. He later worked for and retired from the Huck Manufacturing Company. He was a charter member of Central United Methodist Church in Waco. Those who knew James loved him and that love was returned. James was preceded in death by his parents; baby brother, Joe Dean; and his first wife of 40 years, Doris Marie. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivien; step-daughter, Judy Jones of Fort Worth; three step-grandsons and three step great granddaughters; sister, Sue Jenkins of Italy, TX; two nieces and numerous cousins. Honorary pallbearers are friends from Central United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be sent to his beloved church, Central United Methodist Church of Waco for the children’s child care unit.
