James "Jim" Simeon Womack

James Simeon Womack June 1, 1946 August 5, 2014 James "Jim" Simeon Womack, 68, of Ft. Worth, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. James Womack was born June 1, 1946, in Pilot Point, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, in January of 1969, with a Bachelor of Science and Dairy and Food Science. He worked for Kraft Foods formerly Anderson-Clayton Foods from 1969 through 1992 and for Cargill from 1994 through 2011 as Technical Services Manager. He retired in 2011, after 42 years, to spend time with his family. James enjoyed reading, watching movies, listening to music, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoying time with his family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Henry Womack and Eva O'Neal Womack; and one brother, Jack Henry Womack. Surviving are two daughters, Staci Anthony Saner of Fort Worth, Texas, Shani Stanton Clark Womack of Portland, Oregon and one son, Scott Jennifer Womack of Noble, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Madison, JT, Emma, Grayson and Vivian; one sister, Sally Wolfe, of Waco; one sister-in-law, Susan Womack, of Waco, TX, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
