SULLIVAN, JAMES R. JIM James R. Jim Sullivan, age 75, of Waco died Thursday, February 14, 2002 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:30PM Monday, February 18 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Steve Ramsdell officiating. Burial with Masonic rites by Waco Masonic Funeral Committee will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 3:00-5:00PM Sunday, February 17 at the funeral home. Mr. Sullivan was born June 16, 1926 in Red Oak to James L. and Rosa Lee Sullivan. He was reared and educated in Red Oak. He was active in civic, business, and church affairs in Waco. He was owner and C.E.O. of Truckmotive in Waco. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Baylor Lodge #1235 and Karem Shrine Temple where he was a member of the Texas T’s. He was also a member of the Royal Order of Jesters #115. Mr. Sullivan was former president and member of the board of directors of Texas State Truckers Association and on the Boards of Power Heavy Duty Organization and C.F.S. He was a representative of small business owners of the National Republican Congressional Committee. He was a member of the Texas A & M Century Club and a member of Ridgewood Country Club. He was active in Little League Baseball as a coach. Mr. Sullivan was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he was in the Mary and Joseph Sunday School Class. He was also active in church choir. Survivors include his wife, L. Lee Sullivan of Waco, daughters, Toni Cupps and husband, Mike of Corsicana and Ashley Marie Sullivan of Waco; stepsons, Ty Lochridge of Dallas and Donald Jorn of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Christina Willingham of Waco and James Willingham of Corsicana; and great granddaughter, Stephanie Willingham of Waco. Pallbearers will be Bobby Avants, Steve Canuteson, Nathan Holek, Ralph Richard, Steve Richard, and Mike Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Ken Gooch, John Gobel, Elliott Bennett, Everett Alexander, Bill Johnston, and D. McCarty. Memorials may be made to Shrine Burn Center, Galveston. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
