Jan Linnstaedter

Jan Linnstaedter June 17, 1945 - July 24, 2007 Jan Linnstaedter of Waco passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at First United Methodist Church of Waco with Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jan was born June 17, 1945 in Dallas to H.L. Hank and Nelma Corwin. She attended Waco schools, graduated from the original Waco High School and from Baylor University in 1966 with a B.A. in Education. She Miss Linn taught early childhood education physically and mentally handicapped children at Connally ISD for 28 years. Jan was an active member of Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers Sorority. She remained very active and enjoyed golfing with her friends in the LWGA and at other courses in Central Texas. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Grant and Jordyn; and her pet poodles, Buffy and Holly. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Don; and her son, Jeff and wife, Dorie; grandchildren, Grant and Jordyn; brother, Mike Corwin and wife, Kay; and numerous other relatives. Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church Waco and Fuzzy Friends.
