John Eckles November 15, 1946 - September 16, 2006 John Eckles of Hewitt passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 at a local hospital. Services will be at 11:30 am, Tuesday, September 19 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery . Visitation with the family will be from 5 - 7 pm, Monday, September 18 at the funeral home. John was born November 15, 1946 in Jackson, MS. and educated at Texas A & M University. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by wife, Tracy Eckles of Hewitt; daughters, Carrie Eckles, Christina Eckles, Victoria Eckles, Brittany King, Destiny King, Lisa Eckles, Erica Eckles and Tina Eckles; granddaughters, Shaneishia Walker and Tiayonaria Walker; sisters, Pam King and Martha Gladney; host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Willie Washington, Kenneth King, Lee King, Kenneth Montoya, Craig Hill, E. T. Thomas and Dave Jean. Memorial donations may be made to Victims of Crime.
