SPIVEY, LINDSEY GARLAND Lindsey Garland Spivey, age 94, of Waco died Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at a local nursing home. Services will be held at 11:30AM Friday, November 9th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Ron Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, November 8th at the funeral home. Mr. Spivey was born January 17, 1907 near Temple. He lived most of his life in Waco. He married Iris Fay Smith January 16, 1931. She preceded him in death April 7, 1995 after 64 years of marriage. He was an employee of Behren’s Drug Company for 62 years. Mr. Spivey was a member of Columbus Ave. Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Shirley Spivey Kickliter and husband, George P. of Tampa, Florida, son, L.G. Spivey, II of Dallas, grandchildren, Kim Kickliter Seavey and husband, William of Tampa, Florida, Karen Iris Kickliter Witt and husband, Dr. Robert Cameron of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Catherine Spivey Sentell and husband, Hutton Wesley and Craig Garland Spivey and wife, Jennifer all of Dallas, great grandchildren, Courtney and Caroline Witt, Wesley and Grayson Sentell, Rachel Iris Seavey and Garrett Garland Spivey, brothers, Joe Spivey and wife, Joan of Waco, Lonnie Raymond Spivey and wife, Margaret of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, David Curtis Spivey and wife, Marilyn of Richardson, and Leonard Eugene Spivey and wife, LaTrelle of Austin, sister-in-law, Juanita Spivey of Waco, and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friend, Jack VanZandt of Waco and other good friends. Pallbearers will be Joe Lawrence Spivey, Lonnie Raymond Spivey, David Curtis Spivey, Leonard Eugene Spivey, Craig Garland Spivey, and Hutton Wesley Sentell.
