ANN WALTERS, 71, of Woodway, died Sunday at a local hospital. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 6101 Bosque, the Rev. Joe Loughlin officiating. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at Austin Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Walters was born July 27, 1929 in Dallas. She was reared and educated in Austin. She attended the University of Texas. She married Leland E. Walters August 30, 1946 in Austin. She and Mr. Walters owned and operated The Hobby Shop on Lake Air Dr. in Waco for over 30 years. Mrs. Walters was a member of Harris Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter Janet Lynn Walters in 1958, a grandson Sean Adams in 1971 and a granddaughter Shannon Adams in 1975. Survivors include her husband Leland Walters of Woodway, one daughter Jacquelyn Ann Fife and her husband Daryl of Waco; one son Joe Raymond Walters of Round Rock; one granddaughter Gina Ellinger and her husband Alan of Troy and Gina’s father Dalton Adams of Waco; and 3 great grandsons: Kyle, Ryan and Cody.
