Marie G. Stuth August 29, 1913 – August 24, 2007 Marie G. Stuth, age 93, a long-time resident of Waco, died at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Texas on August 24, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 29, at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father Albert Laforet as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. and Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 28, with Father Albert Laforet, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas. Marie Stuth was born August 29, 1913, in Dime Box, Texas to Adolph and Lydia Maresh. She graduated from Ennis High School in 1931 and Santa Rosa School of Nursing in San Antonio in 1934. She worked as a registered nurse for 50 years in Kingsville, Robstown, and Waco, Texas. She retired from Providence Hospital in 1985, after working there for 28 years. She was an active member of the Catholic Church during her life-time, singing in the choir and as a member of various organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Henry E. Stuth, brother Henry Maresh, sister Betty Unterbrink and great-granddaughter, Kelly Ann Stuth. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Hank and Tommie Stuth of Troup, Texas; a daughter, Marilynn Yalch of Rocky Mount, NC; grandchildren Ken Stuth, Cindy King, Clara Berndt, Michael Stuth, Mark Yalch, Becky Schaberg, and Eric Yalch, and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ken Stuth, Mark Yalch, Michael Stuth, Eric Yalch, Steve King, and Paul Berndt.
