Mary Ann Dameron passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 9, at Bruceville-Moore Cemetery, with Rev. Robin Ford officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Mary Ann was born July 22, 1934, in Eddy, Texas, to Cleburne and Mary Viola Dunning. Mary Ann was educated at Baylor University. She began her teaching career at Bruceville-Eddy where she met her husband, Marvin Lane. After a few years, she transferred to Midway ISD where she spent the majority of her 44 years as an elementary librarian. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marvin Lane Dameron. She is survived by her cousin, Beverly McDonald of Florida; her sister-in-law, Mary Mooney; brother-in-law, Clyde Dameron; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is also survived by special friends Donnie and Linda Brandon and hundreds of former students that she considered her children. Memorials may be made to Bruceville-Eddy United Methodist Church or the Midway ISD Education foundation.
