Ruby Lee Curry August 7, 1928 - August 2, 2011 Ruby Lee Curry of Waco passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011, surrounded by her children, at The Courtyard in Hewitt. Services will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 5, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Curry and Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Burial will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, at Faukenberry Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Ruby was born August 7, 1928, in Limestone County, Texas, to Roy and Clara Daniel. She and Johnie Curry were married June 8, 1946, in Limestone County. She worked at Midway ISD in food service. Ruby was a member of Kendrick Lane Baptist Church and in recent years attended The Eagles Eye Bible Fellowship. Her life was centered 'round her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years, Johnie Curry; brothers, Raymond and Lawrence Daniel; sisters, Vernona Sims, Laura Dodd and Lela Mae Vest. She is survived by her daughter, Jannette Morgan, and husband, Wesley, of Waco; sons, Rev. Johnny Curry and wife, Janice, of Lorena; Billy Curry and wife, Patricia, of Robinson; and Ronnie Curry and wife, Sharon, of Waco; grandchildren, Linda Daugherty, Johnny Curry Jr., Jessica Curry, Melissa Morgan, David Curry, Daniel Curry, Trent Curry, and Tristin Curry; great grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Barnard; and Macy Fuentes; and sister, Iris Webb of Ft. Worth. Pallbearers are Ronnie Curry, David Curry, Daniel Curry, Johnny Curry II, Matthew Barnard, Joshua Barnard, Thomas Curry and Bob Ward. Honorary pallbearer is Bill Lebkowsky.
