SCHOTT, STORMIE Stormie Schott, age 23, of Denton died Sunday, March 11, 2001 in a local hospital. Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 14, 2001at Davis Memorial United Methodist Church, North Richland Hills, Ft. Worth, TX with Rev. Grady Britton officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Denton, TX. Memorial services 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at First Baptist Church, Woodway, TX with Rev. Mike Toby officiating. Visitation with the family 3:00-5:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Stormie was born May 7, 1977 in Denton, TX to Robert J. and Sherry Boyd Schott. She graduated from Ryan High School, Denton, TX, class of 1995. She graduated from Baylor University, Class of 1999 with a bachelors of art double major in political science and history. She was currently working on her masters degree in international relations at Baylor University. As an undergraduate, she was a member of the Face to Face Ministries Student Leadership Team and was currently serving on their board of directors. Stormie participated in reaching unreached people groups in China and Turkey. “I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:20-21 Survivors include: Her fiancé: Scott Bertrand of Houston Her father: Robert Schott and his wife, Lark of Ft. Worth Her mother: Sherry New and her husband, Tim of Denton Grandparents: Hammy S. and Ethel Boyd, Bill and Betty New, William and Laura Schott, Bill and Joyce Smith Numerous aunts and uncles and cousins and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Chris Kennedy, Alfred Cheng, James Barham, Kyle Walters, Trent Henderson, and Earl Patrick. Memorials may be made to Face to Face Ministries, P. O.
