Talmadge Buel Paw Paw Tynes

TYNES, TALMADGE BUEL PAW PAW Talmadge Buel Tynes Paw Paw, age 79, of Robinson went to be with the Lord May 14, 2003. Services will be held at 1:30pm Friday, May 16 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Dr. Dan McGee officiating. Burial with Masonic rites and police honor guard will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Thursday, May 15 at the funeral home garden room. Mr. Tynes was born August 6, 1923 in Waco to Buel C. and Lillian Tynes. He married Virginia Dene Sullins January 13, 1946. He was a Waco police officer from March 1, 1954 to February 14, 1986. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the CBI Theater in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Tynes was a longtime member of Edgefield Baptist Church and George N. Denton Masonic Lodge #24. Tal was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a caring, unselfish person who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Tynes. Survivors include his wife, Virginia L. Tynes of Robinson; daughters, Donna Hoelscher and husband, Richard of Hewitt and Dewana Fitzpatrick and husband, Devin of Lorena; sons, Daryl Tynes and wife, Diane of Lorena and Dennis Tynes and fiancée, Rhonda Harrison of Waco; grandchildren, Angie Honey, Ray Tynes, Kelly Mynar, Billy Tynes, Ann Marie Baxley, Travis Honey, J. J. Fischetti, Jeremy Fischetti, Joel Fischetti and D. J. Fitzpatrick; ten great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Tynes and wife, Dorothy of Rockdale, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
