Thelma “Granny” Jones of Waco passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Quality Care of Waco . Services will be at 6:30 pm Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with visitation following service. Rev. Kay Hawkins and John Byrum will officiate. Burial will be at 10:00 am. Wednesday August 22, 2007 at Little Bethel Cemetery, Duncanville, Texas . . Granny was born April 11, 1919 in Cedar Hill, Texas to Rufus Comer Plummer and Ophelia Plummer. .. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Granny’s passion in life was her family and friends . She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband H. B. Jones, four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Cynda Waller and husband Bob, Waco , Texas. Two granddaughters, Tori Waller of Waco, and Laci Yarbrough and husband Luke of Dallas, Texas. One great granddaughter, Lily Kay Yarbrough of Dallas. Two sisters-inlaw, Sylvia Jones, of Cedar Hill and Verna Plummer of Duncanville. Also many beloved neices and nephews. Pallbearers will be her nephews, David Eddlemon, Carl Cox Joe Eddlemon, Johnny Eddlemon, Ron Cox, and Jimmy Frank Ramsey.
