Thomas Morton Brush January 18, 1931 - May 8, 2014 Thomas Morton Brush of Waco passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Thomas was born January 18, 1931, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Robert Lowell and Lesta Brush. He received an engineering degree from Oklahoma A&M, and served in U.S. Army. Thomas was employed by Phillips Petroleum, Rocketdyne, and many years with Texas Hospital Association, being a licensed professional engineer. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary Nell Brush; and his parents. He is survived by his son, Timothy Brush of Waco; sister, Louise Thorp of Tampa, Florida; brothers, Robert S. Brush of New Braunfels, Texas, and Charles Brush and wife, Sue, of Seguin, Texas; sisters-in-law, Melba Smith of Pineville, Louisiana, and Betty Smith of Austin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
