Walter Watt Miller April 11, 1914-November 30, 20005 Walter Miller passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Providence Hospital. Services will be on Saturday, December 3, at 3:30 PM at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Bosque Chapel with Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, Dec. 2 at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Walter was born in Belton, TX. He was an artillery soldier in Europe during World War II He was an inspector for the Texas Department of Transportation for over 30 years retiring in August, 1973. During his retirement he spent the majority of his time on the golf course, tending to his farm and cattle and fishing. He loved his family and enjoyed quality time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be truly missed by his family and a special group of golfers at Greenbriar Country Club in Moody, TX. Walter was a member of First Baptist Church of Hewitt in Hewitt. He is survived by his wife, Ava Bell Miller of Lorena and son, John Walter Miller and wife, Patsy of Lorena; brother, Walter Miller and wife, Patsy of Corpus Christi, and sister, Celia Runnels and husband, Larry of Ft. Smith, AR.Also surviving are step-son, Michael Kelley and wife, Sherry; step-daughter, Patsy Heckler and husband, Kyle; grandchildren; Wade Miller and wife, Kristi, Dena Parsons and husband, Shannon, Mark Miller, Tammy Holden, Bobby Foster, Beverly Koose and husband, Arne, Ava Dominguez, Michael Kelley, Jr. and Lindsey Kelley, plus 16 great grandchildren.
