Adys Mae Mullen September 9, 1922 - October 13, 2015 Today our dear sweet mother, Adys Mae Mullen of San Antonio, formerly of Waco, lost her battle with Alzheimer's on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Her graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, at Waco Memorial Park. Adys was born September 9, 1922, in Houston, Texas, to Julius and Mary Brown. Adys had spent the past four years in hospice care and went peacefully and is now joining our Dad and her Mom. We know she is happy. She was a gentle but strong woman raising three equally strong children, as a military wife, often alone while our father was away serving our country. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 60 years, Leroy Mullen. She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Kern and husband, Carrol, of Grapevine, Texas; Dawn Wright and husband, Frank, of San Antonio; brother, Wayne Mullen and wife, Rose Marie, of San Antonio; and grandson, Eric Wright of Ft.
