Agatha Wollard April 6, 1913 – November 26, 2006 Agatha Cecille Wollard passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006. Services will be held 11:30 AM, Wednesday, November 29 at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 28 from 4 to 6:00 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Agatha was born April 6, 1913 to Robert Bob David Little and Johnnie Loretta Crocker. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1930 and attended Hill Junior College and graduated from Texas Women’s University in 1937 and received her Masters at Baylor University. She married Roy Lee Wollard, May 27, 1939 and to this union was born three sons, David Lee, Roy Don and William Douglas Doug. She began her teaching career at Lovelace in Hill County and continued at Mount Calm for many years. In 1955, she began teaching at St Alban’s Episcopal School in Waco until 1961 when she began teaching in the Waco School system. She taught third grade at Meadowbrook Elementary and Kendrick Elementary until retirement in 1978. After retirement, she continued teaching at Columbus Avenue School for Internationals and also volunteered in third grade at Mountainview Elementary. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa and Waco Federation of Women’s Club. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, reading and playing Canasta. She cooked and volunteered for Meals on Wheels and taught Bible School at Cogdell United Methodist Church. She lived the past 13 years at Stillwell Retired Teacher’s Residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, William Douglas, brother, Jack Little and sister, Bobbi Hardin. She is survived by sons, David Lee Wollard and wife, Linda of Waco and Roy Don Wollard and wife, Judy of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Stacey Woodard and husband, Patrick, Jimmy Don Wollard and wife, Soli, Billy Tom Wollard, and Joseph Lee Wollard and wife, Kristi; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Wilkinson of Arkansas and Mary Nell Furrer of Gholson.
