Agnes Marie Maldonado April 20, 1924 - March 3, 2008 Agnes Marie Cabrera Maldonado of Canon, Georgia went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 3, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Soler as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation begins at 6 p.m. and Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Agnes was born April 20, 1924 in Hubbard, Texas to Joe O. and Refugio Cabrera. She worked at various dry cleaning establishments throughout Waco. Agnes has been a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Waco; a member of the choir and an Eucharistic minister. She was a supportive daughter to her parents as her oldest brother, Luis was the first casualty from Waco during WWII. Also, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allec Maldonado; and two brothers, Luis and Edward Cabrera. She is survived by five daughters, Adelaide Rowland and husband, Spencer of Canon, GA; Elouise Rodriguez and husband, Jesus of Pittsburg, Kansas; Jeannette Boswell and husband, Douglas of Shreveport, LA; Magdalene Rowland and spouse, Terry Seabolt of Spring, TX and Allec Poe and husband, Randy of Mexia, TX.; plus 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ralph Cabrera of Hampton, VA.
