NEVILLS, AGNES Agnes Nevills, age 84, of Mart passed away Sunday, January 18, 2004 at a nursing home in Mart. Services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, January 20 at First Baptist Church of Mart with Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Hill Cemetery in Limestone County. Mrs. Nevills was born June 1, 1919 in Limestone County to James Roger and Werdna Burke Moran. She had been a resident of Mart for the past 50 years. She married Ernest Edward Preacher Nevills May 24, 1941. He preceded her in death September 15, 1987. She and her husband owned and operated Nevills Grocery Store in Mart for many years. Mrs. Nevills was a member of First Baptist Church of Mart. Survivors include sons, Troy Nevills, Sr. and wife, Linda of Mart and Gary Nevills, Sr. and wife, Rhonda of Axtell; grandsons, Troy Nevills, Jr. and wife, Jamie, Odell Nevills all of Mart, and Gary Nevills, II of Axtell; great grandsons , Austin Lane and Hunter Lee Nevills; sister, Mable Hickman of Palestine and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Troy Nevills, Jr., Odell Nevills, Gary Nevills, II, Bradley Potts, Roy Lee Moran, and Jimmy Moran. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Community Hospice or Mart Volunteer Fire Department.
