MCGEE, ALBERT MARSHALL Albert Marshall McGee, age 82, of Waco died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at a local hospital. Services will be 1:30 PM Friday, March 16, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Julie Pennington-Russell officiating. Private burial for family only will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, March 15, 2001 at the funeral home. Mr. McGee was born February 23, 1919 in Waco to A.G. and Lucy Maynard McGee. He married Mary Ann Washington November 13, 1942. She preceded him in death December 20, 1991. He was a veteran of U.S. Army WWII. He was a tank commander for the 753rd Tank Battalion during the invasion of Sicily, Italy and Southern France. He served under the command of General George S. Patton. He worked for Central Texas Iron Works from 1954 until his retirement in 1984. Mr. McGee was a longtime member of Columbus Ave. Baptist Church and presently a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the D.A.V. Survivors include: A daughter: Marcia L. Ives and her husband, Ronnie of Waco Two sons: Bruce McGee and his wife, Judy of Lorena Mike McGee, Sr. and his wife, Gayla of Woodway A sister: Mildred Verley of Waco Four grandchildren: Mike McGee, Jr., Kevin McGee, Teresa Little, and David Ives. Two great grandchildren: Kaleb and Kaley McGee Pallbearers will be Mike McGee, Jr., Kevin McGee, David Ives, Larry Lenamon, Jerry Lenamon, and Ronnie Lenamon. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
