Albert Raymond Grauer

May 7, 1911 — March 23, 2004

GRAUER, ALBERT RAYMOND Albert Raymond Grauer, age 92 of Waco died Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11am Thursday, March 25 at Oakwood Cemetery with The Rev. Angelo Bertini officiating. Mr. Grauer attended primary and secondary schools in Lincoln, Illinois and later attended Monmouth College, graduating in 1933. He moved to Chicago to work for the Agriculture Association of Illinois. He married Elizabeth Britton January 18, 1936. He served in the Air Force during WWII. He then moved to Texas in 1950 with the Texas Farm Bureau, retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Texas Farm Bureau and Lake Waco Country Club. Survivors include wife, Elizabeth Britton Grauer of Waco; nephew, Dr. Keith Young and wife, Barbara of Aurora, Illinois; and longtime friend and caregiver, Mrs. B.M. Chic Norcross.
