Albin Lichnovsky January 15, 1926 - November 14, 2007 Albin Lichnovsky, age 81, of Waco passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at his residence. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, November 18, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Albin was born in West, TX to John and Sophie Lichnovsky. He attended schools at West, Weatherford Jr. College and Baylor. During WWII he joined the U.S. Navy and served aboard The Aircraft Carriers, U.S.S. Enterprise and U.S.S. F.D.R. He retired from Montgomery Ward in 1988 after 40 years of employment. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara; brothers, Ernest and Bobby; and sister, Lillie Owens. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Matus and husband, David of Tours; brothers, Billy and George.
