MCKEE, ALICE CLEO Alice Cleo McKee, age 95, of Waco died Sunday, April 8, 2001 at a McGregor nursing home. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday, April 11th at Moody Cemetery with Rev. Marion Ford officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, April 10th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. McKee was born January 19, 1906 to Bramlett and Alice Harvey Breeding in Moody and attended schools in Bethany and Eddy. She married Lawrence McKee November 16, 1927. She lived in Cego for 18 years. She moved to Bruceville in 1945 and in 1959 she and Mr. McKee moved to Lorena. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lorena. Mrs. McKee taught Sunday school and played the piano at Horne Church near Moody as a young girl. The family will be at the home of Nita and Randy Lanier in Eddy Wednesday. Her husband, Lawrence McKee and a son, Lawrence McKee, Jr, preceded her in death. Survivors include: Daughter: Laurel Fette and her husband, Jerry of Woodway, Son: Lowell B. McKee and his wife, Loraine of Eddy, Sister: Mrs. Pearl Scott of Eddy, Grandchildren: Mrs. Nita Lanier of Eddy, Mrs. Pam Black of Troy, and Jerry Fette, Jr. of Stephenville, Six great grandchildren.
