Alice Jean Rowan May 19, 1930 - May 11, 2007 Alice Jean Rowan of Granbury passed away peacefully Friday, May 11, 2007 at her home. Services will be at 2 PM Monday, May 14, 2007 at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Garden Room with the Rev. Curtis Holland and Rev. Howard Wayne Bright officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery . Visitation will be from 4 - 6 PM Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jean was born May 19, 1930 in Rule, TX to William Buck Harrison and Alice Elizabeth Harrison. Jean was the salutatorian of her high school in Ohio. She worked at Dr. Hewitt and Dr. Phillip’s offices in Ft Worth, TX, . She was preceded in death by parents. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, N. Weldon Rowan, Jr., of Granbury, TX ; daughter Cathy Jean Rowan Kirkpatrick and husband, Glen, of Alvarado, TX; sons Michael Patrick Rowan and wife, Lynn, of Ft Worth, TX, and Weldon William Rowan and wife, Nancy, of Hurst, TX; Robert Kevin Rowan and wife, Pam, Of Granbury, TX; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 5 Great-great grandchildren; brother Richard King Harrison, of Houston, TX; sister-in-law Myrl Luper, of Waco, TX; Jerry Bright of Waco, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Phillip Kirkpatrick, Sean Kirkpatrick, Timothy Rowan, Aaron Rowan, Ian Rowan, Kevin Rowan, Christen Rowan, Seth Rowan., and Ryan Goforth.
