DONALD, ALICE STUBBS Alice Stubbs Donald, age 84, of Waco died Sunday, March 24, 2002 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, March 26 at Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. Rebecca Whitaker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Donald was born December 6, 1917 in Winona, Texas to Kirby Lee and Effie Alice Tucker Townsend. She graduated from Oak Cliff now Adamson High School in 1935. She attended Texas Tech University for two years and married Bill Stubb in 1937. In 1968, she moved to Waco, where she was office manager for Central Texas Allergy Clinic. She retired from there in 1986. In 1985, she married her high school sweetheart, William J. Bill Donald. She was preceded to Heaven by a grandson, Wade Greenhouse. Survivors include husband, Bill J. Donald of Waco, daughter, Kay McMennamy and husband, Jerry, of Alanreed; sons, Bob Stubbs of Alanreed and fiancée, Emma Pechtel of Amarillo, Charles L. Donald and Rosa Sommers of Dallas, John R. Donald and wife, Lorna D. of The Colony; grandchildren, Theron Stubbs, Scott Stubbs, Lee Erin Freeman, Lynn McMennamy and wife, Thersa, Carrie Johnson and husband, Tommy, Crissie Wisdom and husband, Kirk, Aaron W. Dunn, Christine Donald and Mandy Forest, 11 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
