Aline Taylor Murray September 24, 1917 - August 12, 2009 Aline Taylor Murray, age 91, of Waco passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 15, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Su Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, and because of the heat, please feel free to wear shirt sleeves. There will be no formal visitation, but Mrs. Murray will be in state. Aline was born September 24, 1917 in Gurdon, Arkansas to Fred and Hattie Taylor. She married Gaines Murray in Gladewater, TX on April 16, 1938. They moved from Wadena, Minnesota to Waco in 1977. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Waco. An avid golfer, she enjoyed going to the links to meet friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Gaines Murray; her mother and sister, Bernice O'Byrne. She is survived by her two sons, Emmett of Berkeley, California and John Murray and wife, Mary, of Bloomington, Minnesota; one daughter, Judy Tramposch and husband, Helmut, of Riverview, Florida; three grandsons, Dan, David and Kevin Murray; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Joy Madden and husband, Tom, of Bullard, TX; two sisters-in-law of California; and 16 nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are John Murray, Emmett Murray, Daniel Murray, David Murray, Kevin Murray and Helmut Tramposch. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
