ALLEEN SMITH Alleen P. Smith, 88, of Waco died Saturday, September 07, 2002 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:30PM, Monday, September 9 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00pm Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith was born April 11, 1914 in Lorena. She married Jack D. Smith on October 4, 1934. He preceded her in death February 27, 1996. She was a sales clerk at Cinderella for many years. Mrs. Smith was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church where she was active in the Meals on Wheels program. Survivors: son, Bob Smith and wife Sharon of Waco; granddaughters, Kriste Burnside and husband Dale of Robinson and Traci Proctor and husband Ernest of Waco; great grandchildren, Kortney, Dustin and Reagan Burnside and Brianna Proctor; sister, Mildred Griffin of Waco, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Butch McKown, Mark McKown, Al Fritcher, Roy Smith, Jim White and Tommy Whitlock. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Community Hospice. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
