Allie Ruth Chamrod March 21, 1924 - November 6, 2014 Allie Ruth Chamrod of McGregor passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Westview Manor. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Mr. Larry Wymore officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Allie was born March 21, 1924, in West, Texas, to Claude and Elsie Goldsmitih. She retired from Owens Illinois Glass Plant in 1974. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting. Her greatest joy was spending time with friends and family. Ruth was a member of Bosqueville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Chamrod; and one brother, James Goldsmith. She is survived by her daughter, Phillis Heimann; sons, Owen Anderson and wife, Theresa, and Steve Chamrod; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers are Jeremy Pauling, Bob McDaniel, R.J. Finazzo, Mike Owens, Larry Graham and Fred Heimann.
