Alma Stewart December 30, 1917 - September 17, 2013 Alma Stewart of Waco passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Jim Milsaps officiating. Burial will follow at Rosenthal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Alma was born December 30, 1917 in Kosse, Texas, to Leonard and Lucy Garrett. She worked many years at the Waco Citizen Newspaper. Alma was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard Emerson Stewart; three sisters and four brothers. She is survived by sons, Michael K. Stewart and Steve Stewart and wife, Linda, of Elm Mott, TX; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Dale Sanders, Jimmey Porterfield, Andrew Cantrell, Wayne Casey, Schawn Ritchey and Charles McClain.
