Almarie "Amy" Best

Almarie (Amy) Best was born in Callina, Texas, to William and Ruby Jenson. She died in Waco, Texas, at the age of 95. A private family service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery on Monday, May 23. Amy was a member of Spring Woods United Methodist Church in Houston and was a graduate of Baylor University. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of 57 years, Alfred Clinton Best. She is survived by one sister, Evelyn Jenson Mankin; one son, Robert and wife, Diana, of Richmond, VA; two daughters, Betsy and husband ,Steve Willis, of Waco, and Susan and husband ,Tom Mathis, of York, PA; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Betsy Best Willis Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting at Baylor University or the charity of your choice.
