Alta Lorraine Queener January 6, 1930 - February 8, 2009 Alta Lorraine Queener of Waco passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009. Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Lorraine was born January 6, 1930 in Bosqueville to James and Mamie Moody. She graduated from Waco High School in 1947. She spent over 32 years in banking in Waco. Lorraine was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jack Hurst; second husband, Billy George Queener; three brothers; and a great-grandson. She is survived by her three daughters, Paula Walker, Kelly Ferguson and Lorill Niles; brother, Hayden Moody; four grandsons; one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
