Alta Pauline Martin

Alta Pauline Martin February 9, 1917 - November 10, 2010 Alta Pauline Martin, 93, beloved mother and grandmother, of Woodway passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010. A memorial service will be at a later date. Alta was born February 9, 1917, in Ringling, Oklahoma, to Frances and Mary Sanders Lantz. She was the youngest of eight children. She met and married Clyde G. Martin in Bristow, Okla., in 1941. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She worked as an LVN, until they started Martin Tool & Supply in 1974. She retired from the business in 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Clyde; two brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Sally Martin; son, Don A. Martin and wife, Cris; grandson, Allen Martin and wife, Sherri; and granddaughter, Heather Nering and husband, Jason; four great grandchildren, Lantz, Cole, Caley and Hayden; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Central Texas.
