LOONEY, ALVIN FRANK Alvin Frank Looney, age 46, of Speegleville died Monday, June 09, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 11:30am Wednesday, June 11 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at White Rock Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Tuesday, June 10 at the funeral home. Mr. Looney was born July 19, 1956 in Fort Hood, Texas to A.F. Looney, Jr. and Margie B. Hord Looney. He attended schools in Waco and graduated from Waco High in 1974. He married Debora Sue Bell May 23, 1975. He worked in his family business, Al’s Supply Co. in Waco. He loved and enjoyed restoring classic Camaros. He enjoyed camping, fishing and snow skiing. He coached for Lake Air Little League for several years. He fought a four and a half year battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Bobby Looney in 1975. Survivors include wife, Debora Looney of Speegleville; son, Travis Ryan Looney of Speegleville; parents, A.F. and Margie B. Looney of Waco; brother, Larry A. Looney of Bellmead; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Herman, Sr. and Jimmie Bell of Waco; brother-in-law, Herman Bell, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Speegleville; sister-in-law, Anna Combs and husband, Don of Waco; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Pallbearers will be Donald Holt, Jr., Herman T. Bell, III, Brandon Reinke, Jason Hoffmeyer, Jack Faubion, and Brett Cleverly.
