Alvin Al Ernest Navara, Sr. October 11, 1924 - February 11, 2007 Alvin Al Ernest Navara, Sr. of Waco passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007 at a local nursing home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Alvin was born October 11, 1924 in Lorena, McLennan County, TX to Vince Navara and Emelia Ann Navara. Alvin worked at Bird – Kultgen for 35 years, was a member of the Police Reserve for a number of years. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Louise Sherman Navara. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Perry and Cindy Edwards; one son, Alvin Navara, Jr.; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
