GUERRA, ANGELITA Angelita V. Guerra, age 76, of Waco died Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at her residence. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM Saturday, August 18th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial at Waco Memorial Park will follow. Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM Friday, August 17th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Guerra was born October 1, 1924 in Rosebud. She had been a longtime resident of Waco. She married Francisco Guerra January 1950. She was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and formerly a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, where she was in the Guadalupanas. Prior to her illness, she was active in community service in translation and seeking benefits for the elderly. She was also a foster parent. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Joseph Guerra. Survivors include: Husband: Francisco Guerra of Waco Daughters: Evangelina Jimenez and husband, Joe of Waco Frances Perez and husband, Richard of San Antonio Sons: Florentino Villarreal and wife, Rose Marie of Waco David Guerra of Waco Miguel Guerra and wife, Sebrina of Waco Sisters: Sally Morrison of San Antonio Suzanne Flores and husband, Jesus of Dallas Mary Sunday Macias of California Lucy Sustaita of Dallas Half sisters: Toni Herrera of Waco Lupe Gonzales of Waco Half brother: Roy Villarreal of Tyler 22 Grandchildren 20 Great grandchildren Pallbearers will be Antonio Jimenez, Lorenzo Jimenez, Tino Villarreal, Fernando Villarreal, Matthew Perez, and Andrew Guerra.
