Anita B. Phillips-Huggins July 27, 1915 - March 6, 2008 Anita B. Phillips-Huggins, age 92, of Waco passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 10, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Anita was born July 27, 1915 in Lorena, Texas to William and Fannie Boleman. She attended Mary-Hardin-Baylor University; was personnel manager at Montgomery Wards; administrative assistant at General Tire; and ended her career as a real estate agent for more than 25 years in Waco. She was known and remembered for her wit, extremely dry sense of humor and passion for gardening. Anita was a lifelong Methodist and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waco. She is survived by her daughter, Diedre J. Coffell and husband, Bill of Dublin; granddaughter, Aerin Morse and husband, James; grandson, Geoffrey Jenkins and Brandi Carter; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jeffrey Morse. She is also survived by her son, William E. Oswald and wife, Sandra of Ft. Worth; and their three children, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; extended family, Ralph and Kay Sparks of Waco and David and Betty Phillips of Maine.
