Ann Falk Hammond

December 21, 1938 — June 6, 2002

HAMMOND, ANN Ann Falk Hammond, age 63, of Waco died Thursday, June 6, 2002 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 11:30AM Monday, June 10 Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Richard M. Freeman, Rev. Stephen Ramsdell, and Rev. Robert Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Sunday, June 9 at the funeral home. Ms. Hammond was born December 21, 1938 in Austin to Chester E. Falk, Sr. and Irene Wilson Falk. She was a graduate of Southwest Texas Teachers College. Most of her teaching career was spent in the WISD, retiring after 30 years of service. Ann spent many hours behind the scenes helping Eldon with the Boy Scouts of America at First United Methodist Church of Waco, where they are also active members. Daughter, Cynthia Ann Hammond, preceded her in death. Survivors include husband, Eldon R. Hammond of Waco; son, Joel Hammond, sister, Clemmie Hext, and brother, Chester E. Falk, Jr. all of Austin. Pallbearers will be Adult Scouters Troop 308 First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Methodist Church of Waco Family Life Center. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
