Anna Jane Davis February 27, 1983 – February 20, 2016 Anna Jane Davis of Temple, TX passed away February 20, 2016, at Scott and White Hospital. She was 32 years old. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Scott and White Memorial Hospital, 2401 S. 31st St. Temple, TX 76508. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Born February 27, 1983, Anna grew up in Waco, TX. She moved to Temple to pursue her nursing degree and was hired by Scott and White where she worked in the ICU. Anna loved being a nurse and she gave an extraordinary amount of her love and energy to her patients. As a hospice nurse, Anna referred to her patients as her “children”, and she loved and cared for them through their last days. Everyone was special in her eyes. Anna was loved by everyone who knew her. She led a life of service and sacrifice. She worked hard at everything she did and she could do anything. When she wasn’t working, Anna spent time caring for her many cats, cooking elaborate meals and sharing her home with any friend who needed her. She was passionate about her friends. Her generosity of spirit was the essence of her being. Anna lit up the room with her smile and made you feel at home. Anna was predeceased by her father Robert Baxter Davis, whom she adored. She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Herndon Davis, of Tulsa, OK; her doting grandparents, Tom and Jane Herndon; aunts, Carol Klenda (Tom) and Julia Reynolds (Steve), eight cousins, many friends, including, Marcos Morales, Sherrie Maddoux, Feliz Salinas, Esther Seoanes, Laura Patterson, Pat and Stephanie Vargas, Kristian Rivera, Ursula Hinds, Rachel Sharp, Dr. Velasco, Dr. Sanchez and countless others. Her family is grateful to those many friends who have been there for Anna, throughout the years, and especially in these last difficult days. May Anna’s soul rest peacefully with the Lord.
