Anna Mary Pulliam January 19, 1926 – January 11, 2016 Anna Mary Pulliam joined her Lord on January 11, 2016. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 16, at Oakwood Cemetery, with the Dr. William B. Tolar officiating. There will be a reception following at the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Anna was born January 19, 1926, at Westernport, Maryland to Victor D. and Mary C. Funk Rippy. She graduated from nursing school in Pittsburgh, Pa. She moved to Texas in 1948, and to Waco in 1961, joining Columbus Avenue Baptist Church. She worked for the Waco office of American Amicable Life and retired from there. Anne‘s kindness and sweet smile was given with love to everyone she met. She was blessed with a sweet spirit, and had a deep love for the Lord and His Word. Her family was blessed with her unconditional love, patience, and example of how to treat others. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her son, John Scott Pulliam; daughter, Cindy Fadal and husband, Ed, both of Waco; two grandchildren, Grant Fadal and wife, Jenn of College Station, and Jeff Fadal and wife, Jennifer of Waco; three great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to our extended family at Wesley Woods for their tender care and Providence Hospice for their support and loving care.
