Annette Collinsworth

Annette Collinsworth Annette Collinsworth passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at a local Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006 at First United Methodist Church of Riesel with the Rev. Bob Maxwell officiating. Burial will be at 5:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Winters, TX. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.Friday, April 7, 2006 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Annette was born March 29, 1921 in Voss, TX to Tolliver Farris and Roberta Rae Powers Farris. Annette was a graduate of Mozelle High and attended Tarleton State. She married D.B. Collinsworth December 21, 1941 in Dublin, TX. She worked at A.S.C.S. office Department of Agriculture for 26 years. Marie has been a lifelong Methodist. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Riesel since July 1951. She was a charter member of the Marlin Evening Lions Club, and a member of the Waco Wood Carvers and C.A.S.A. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents Tolliver Farris and Roberta Rae Powers Farris, her husband, and two brothers, Willard Farris and Randolph Farris. She is survived by Donna Joan Lea and husband Jimmy, of Riesel, TX; Sister: Iris Williams and husband Cliff, of Hammond, New York; Sisters-in-laws; Lottie Farris, Eunice Thompson and husband Howard and Leola Williams and several nieces and nephews. Two grandchildren, Stephanie Ringstad and husband, Jason and their children, Jake and Katelyn Marie, and Jeff Lea and his wife, Robin and their children, Grace, Andrew, Oscar and Taylor. Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Riesel or the Texas Lions Camp for Handicapped Children.
