Annie Ruth Ruff November 5, 1919 - July 12, 2012 Annie Ruth Ruff peacefully left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 12, 2012. The celebration service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 16, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. D. Michael Toby officiating. Preceding the service, the family will lay her to rest beside her beloved husband, Dude. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 15, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Annie was born November 5, 1919 in Bruceville, Texas to Edgar and Janie McClain. She lived most of her life in the Waco area. Annie Ruth loved God, church, family and friends dearly. She knew no strangers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick Durward Dude Ruff; sister, Neleen Gassaway, and brothers, Charles McClain and Clester McClain. Annie Ruth is survived by son, Rick Ruff and wife, Debbie, of San Marcos; Grandchildren, Dana Ruff-Dean and husband, Spencer, McClain Ruff, Lainey Holland and husband Cory, and great-granddaughter, Harper Holland. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, especially Susan Smith who was always there for her; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arvis and Jackie Walters and many loving and faithful friends.
