ANTONIA SOTO Antonia Toni Silva Soto, age 66 of Waco, passed away Monday December 30, 2002 at her residence. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Sat. January 4, 2003 at St. Francis Catholic Church with Reverend Fernando Hernandez as celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Cruz Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Friday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Washington Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Soto was born September 3, 1936 in Waco to Jose and Felicitas Silva. She has lived in Waco all her life. She married Jose Soto December 20, 1969. She was an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church and was a member and officer of Guadalupanas, Terciarias, Hijas De Maria, and Cursillistas. Survivors include her husband, Jose Manuel Soto of Waco; daughter, Norma Soto Venegas and husband Victor of Waco; son, Jose Antonio Soto and wife Amanda of Waco; grandchildren, Karmen Soto, Victor Venegas Jr., Veronica Soto, Joe Angel Soto, Alex Paramo, Ian Paramo, Jayden Soto and Michael Soto; sisters, Dolores Lopez of Waco, Janie Lugo of Waco, Lupe Gonzales of Fort Worth and Virginia Benevidez of Houston; and brother, Manuel Silva of Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Faye Cortez and brothers, Frank Silva and Clemente Silva. Kenneth Haltom, Alfred Silva, Tony Cortez, Charlie Lugo III, Gabriel Lugo and Victor Benevidez will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Catholic Church.
